We are constantly expanding our prop hire portfolio, and if you can’t find what you are looking for or if we do not stock all of the items you need, please contact us to discuss how we can help.

General Information

  • All hire items, storage boxes and equipment remain the property of Borrow and Bloom at all times, unless pre-agreed and specified on the invoice [i.e. bespoke jam jars for floral arrangements]

  • During the hire period you will be solely responsible for the hired goods. Borrow and Bloom will not under any circumstances be held responsible for any injuries or damage to persons or property caused by any hired items.

We recommend that you look into your own Wedding Insurance. This is really popular and is a cost effective way of ensuring all of your carefully selected items are protected.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that we are made aware of any increase in numbers and/or changes to the hire requirements.

  • Due to the seasonal nature and availability of some flowers, we reserve the right to source a carefully selected and similar substitute flower should we not be able to source a particular bloom. We will ensure it remains within your chosen colour palette and preferred style.

  • All items created by Borrow and Bloom may be photographed and used by us for advertising media.

  • Changes to your order: Once we have received your full payment we will be unable to make any changes to your order (1 month prior to your event).

For amendments, prior to this, we will honour changes to the numbers from your original figures. We will do our best to accommodate your changes but where we have ordered stock in specifically and in this situation, an amendment fee would apply.

Product Care & Damages

  • All items hired from us will be clean and in full working order prior to dispatch. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent service.

  • We do not expect you to clean or wash up the items following the hire period (you may well have exotic honeymoons to be getting on with!), but we do ask that you wrap and pack away each item as you received it and in the packaging provided, to minimise breakages.

  • If you do wash any items, please hand wash only and never in the dishwasher.

  • Following the hire period, should any item be deemed damaged beyond repair and unusable, you will be charged the full cost of replacing the particular item. We will discuss this with you and a full price list can be provided on request. Your security deposit will be used where needed to cover the cost of the loss or damage.

These items and conditions and any contract formed between us shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. For any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your goods your statutory rights are not affected and complaints can be made in writing.
